If your kids’ regular chores don’t involve much activity, give them a break from those chores for the week and change them up with some active ones. Some examples might include raking the yard, pulling weeds, or trimming the bushes to get them outside. Some inside options might include mopping the floors, cleaning out their bedroom of unused toys and clothes, and vacuuming. If your child is unable to perform any of these chores, think of some they can do…and you never know, they might surprise you with some of the things they CAN do if it means they get to stay up a little later.
