Golf is one of the most rapidly growing recreational activities in America. It offers a tremendous opportunity for individual skill development, companionship, and socialization. Golf can be played for recreation as well as for competition. It can be played by everyone, of all abilities.

This factsheet provides a listing of resources and information that can be used by people with disabilities who are interested in starting to play golf. It also provides information for recreation, rehabilitation, and golf facility operators interested in learning more about people with disabilities and the resources, assistive devices, and equipment that will allow them to play the game.
