The Viomax is a non-profit institution which offers a vast programming of physical activities for people with disabilities. Their mission is to support the development and the optimal maintenance of the physical capacities of people with disabilities while fostering social integration by the means of physical activity. The organization is characterized by the expertise of its personnel, by its programming oriented to the particular needs of its customers, and by its adapted equipment which makes it possible for its customers to benefit from physical activity. Activities take place on three settings: Adapted Physical Conditioning Room: The room is the only one in the area being entirely accessible for people in wheelchair and those with reduced mobility. It is universally accessible. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool (therapeutic basin) is divided into two hot water basins. A first, smaller basin whose temperature is at 37 C (98 F) and a second, larger at 32 C (88-90 F). The depth varies between 4 and 6 feet.
