This research involved 16 outpatient participants (7 female, 9 male, mean age 65) with idiopathic PD. Participants were excluded if they could not walk or stand without assistance, if any additional neurological, heart, or lung disease was present, and if they missed more than two exercise sessions. Participants went through thorough physical screenings to ensure their safety and participants maintained the medicine regimen that they were on when they began.
